Name: Jennifer Pickens

Grade/Subject: Preschool for ages 2 - 5 years, full time care for ages 2 - 5 years,  before, after, and summer care for school aged children.

Introduction: Children deserve to feel valued, safe, secure, and loved. I am a former Pre-Kindergarten and Second Grade teacher for FCPS. I am Maryland Certified to teach Early Childhood through Elementary School. I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education.  I'm a level 3 Maryland Excels participant. I left teaching to work with children in a smaller group setting to allow more personalized attention. Children learn and play in a multi-age environment. They are able to learn and progress at their own pace. My program offers a structured environment to help prepare them for Kindergarten and provides a balance of time to learn through play. Children grow and develop life long friendships and social skills they will carry with them for many years. Thank you for taking the time to visit my page.
